Great idea!

Omg, I just had a fantastic breakthrough. Like several good ideas collided into each other at a BOOM and another BOOM and BOOM and I'm squealing like a crazy person because this is awesome and I think I'm writing a run on so I should probably stop.

Okay, right, where was I?

Oh, right, epiphany. Great idea. Me equals genius. Okay, not genius, but definitely creative.

OHMIGOD. This would be so brilliant. The characters just like came to me. They just came to me. And they're brilliant. Juicy, juicy characters. They're so fucked up and messed up but like with so much heart. I can NOT wait to write their stories. No one has ever written this stories. I mean, sure, there are tropes and all, and I think someone said there's like seven plots out there.

Speaking of which. I need to figure out which category Asia Minor works in. Based on that Booker book, he came up with :

1. Overcoming the Monster

2. Rags to Riches

3. The Quest

4. Voyage & the Return

5. Comedy

6. Rebirth

7. Tragedy

I know, I know. There are flaws. Then again, I could do another route and use novel as data points like Jockers. Dude came up with 6 different plot lines using sentiment analysis. I guess he read the Vonnegut thesis too on stories and shapes.

Anways....

It's definitely a Rags to Riches story. Yup, that shit happened.

Overcoming the Monster? This upsets me. I don't want this one person to be given that much credit.

Quest? Well, I mean, she does travel a lot.  I had to fight from saying me. But it's not a odyssey. I don't think.

Voyage and the return. Maybe?

Comedy? See, this one intrigued me. I could make this a comedy. It would fight the worry I have that the reader will pity this protagonist. I don't want pity. I want people to be able to leave with the message that you can rise above. It'll be alright.

I think comedy might be just the thing for me. It will be harder to do. But more fun.
